Taking the summer off really put me behind as far as posting food. I’ll be going through ‘em slowly. Here’s a shot of a very good double burger, taken at The Root Beer Stand, (225 Columbia Avenue) in Oglesby, IL near Starved Rock.

Wow. That looks like a great burger.
I had an incredible burger at some “family” restaurant near the El Paso airport. It was fat and wonderful like the one in your picture, but it had chilis on it.
I’m not a huge chili fan (being a wimp when it comes to the heat), but this burger was one of my top burgers ever consumed.

I tried to add a comment to the Foodblog post, but it wouldn’t let me & I tried to find the email address you say is here, but couldn’t find that either. So I am asking you to add my food blog to your list. It is new, but I am adding a post weekly. I am a food technologist & a member of the Research Chefs Association. My blog isn’t about restaurants, but about the makeup of foods, how they are developed, and will eventually get into topical issues like nutraceuticals, organic, etc. I think it would be an interesting addition to the list you currently have.
