Always following directions ’till it had become a bore.
So I made some substitutions. (The directions should have read:
“Friend, no matter what you do, you can’t mess up cornbread.”)”
I was just saying to myself, as I ate some leftover cornbread tonight, I need to start throwing some experimental stuff in here, it’s cheap enought that I won’t feel bad if it doesn’t turn out. A few years ago I had some awesome jalapeno cornbread at a B&B in Wisconsin. That’ll be next.
The leftover cornbread I was eating did have a shot of Knob Creek Bourbon in it though. Mmmm.
